Week 8: Pastel*
I really wanted to work on some drawings of butterflies this week. I saw an amazing craft idea on a blog (Red Ted Art) and wanted to design my own.
Here is my art inspired by pastels and butterflies:
Drawn by hand, but multiplied and colour dropped in using Photoshop.
The craft I mentioned above is called a flex-tangle, or kaleidocycle.
I'll post some tips and ideas another time - basically, you get to colour in, then construct the toy, and once it is made, it is like a mesmerising fiddle toy. If you like, you can also design your own using a blank template.
