52 Portraits in 52 weeks

In February I belatedly started a new challenge. I thought about what I most wanted to improve in my drawing and painting and decided a regular portrait practice would be a good thing. And it would have been, however I am not being especially regular, and I may not make it to 52 portraits - but I have definitely enjoyed exploring and learning as I persevere.
I've lost count, so I'm posting the ones I have done (at least, the ones I can find!)

Batch one - hatching in ink (1-8)

Batch two - dots! (9)

 Batch 3 - quick thumbnail sketches (catching up) ( >19)

Batch 4 - after Modigliani  (20- 21)

Batch 5 - Acrylics on paper and board (22 - 30)

30 so far - a couple more photos to locate, and lot more to create!
