Week 40: Blue
I feel as I have aged somewhat this afternoon.
Picasso had a blue period, so I thought I would try a self portrait.
Instead of getting my paints out, I thought it would be quicker and cleaner to get my pastels out - plus I need the practice with pastels.
I was right about needing the practice but wrong about the rest...it was a bit of an ordeal. It took AGES; I gave up three times and the sofa is is now a grey / blue colour and it used to be beige - but I picked myself up, literally dusted myself down and here it is.
