Week 4: Ode to favourite Children's book

 Richard Scarry was, and is, one of my favourite children's illustrators, I would spend hours reading his dictionary and following all the different characters and their personalities. Squeaky was a firm favourite.
I didn't want to just copy one of his illustrations, so I thought:
What would happen if Scarry wrote a version of 'The enormous Turnip'?

 It seems my daughter's favourite childhood story is not one of the many beautiful tales I told her, but Urgum the Axeman - so here he is!
