Getting out whilst being in lockdown

We're all isolating, staying in to stay safe, in shutdown... we only see our friends and family on screens, We aren't allowed within 2m of anyone and shopping habits have gone crazy - but the natural world is carrying on doing it's wonderful best.
We've had time to listen to the birds sing and really notice the season change from winter to spring and it's been fabulous! I've walked most days along the canal at first, but it's now both too crowded and we should avoid it if we can. We are lucky here to have parks, open countryside and woods on our doorstep so we can visit a whole range of sights and sounds without even getting in the car - which is getting dusty and neglected on our driveway.
